FMAC provides a unique opportunity to participate in a shared pool of intellectual property (IP).

 Companies sponsoring FMAC at the consortium level or higher have the opportunity to share in FMAC’s intellectual property license-fee-free and royalty-free. Non-sponsors are precluded from making use of the Lab's developments for at least two years after technical disclosure is made to UNM and the FMAC sponsors.
